The university supplies us with a Sony hxr mc2500E to record our short film on, however due to our short film we have asked to use Izzy's Canon 7d instead because we would be focusing on cinematography a lot.
We would also be taking loads of close ups and filming in small spaces such as the bathroom so we thought using a smaller camera would be better for our project.
Initial ideas:
- The protagonist finds notes around campus which leads to them finding something to provoke a great day at the end.
- The protagonist discovers they have superpowers, transportation or to stop time.
- The protagonist's day keeps repeating until it's right, time reversal.
- Protagonist has a bad day which develops into something unexpected happening.
- Protagonist struggling with bipolar.
- Glass half empty plot.
- Bad day gone good.
Method ideas:
- Using a green screen to show when the protagonist is transporting around campus.
- Circular narrative.
- Mental health awareness and statistics to educate the audience (if we decide to go for a social realism plot).
